What to expect from the new iPad Mini 5
The new iPad Mini is Apple’s latest and most anticipated gadget that will bring a flurry of cool features to the fingertips of enthusiastic users.
A world of online entertainment at your fingertips
Apple users are anxiously waiting for the release of the latest iPad Mini, a brand-new device from the Cupertino giant. Their past performance suggests that the new tablet will sell like hot cookies, despite the fact that the original release date was missed. The hype only grew and the predicted features look great on paper and promise to be even better in real life. The iPad Mini 4 was released on 9th September 2015, one month before it was expected, but in 2017, prospective customers have to wait slightly longer.
With the iPad Mini’s release date pushed back to (hopefully) June 2017, pundits expect tougher competition from flagship devices produced by their rivals. While this is actually great news for shoppers, it adds additional pressure on Apple to deliver on its promise. Some rumors indicate the fact that the company will announce several models, ranging from 7.9 inches to as much as 12.9 inches.
Not surprising, the new tablet is expected to come in two flavors, one sporting 32GB and the other 128GB. Furthermore, one type of new iPad mini will have Wi-Fi only capabilities, while the other will also sport 4G+ and prices will differ accordingly. The least expensive tablet will set customers back £379, while the most expensive version will cost as much as £589.
The new iPad Mini features look promising
In spite of being known for its secrecy, Apple is rarely capable of preventing leaking formation and the new iPad mini makes no exception. The good news is that the rumored features include 3D Touch, IP 68 protection and an Apple Pencil. These were all features demanded by the community of users and their addition would make the long wait worthwhile. The new tablet is also expected to run on the iOS 10 operating system, which was released on the new iPhones.
The release is overdue and the delay was initially criticized by prospective customers, but in the great scheme of things it is just a minor nuisance. It provided the developers with enough time to come up with better features and enhanced specifications. The new processor is expected to be the Apple A9 which is ideal for 3D games, Facebook Live, online gambling and the latest image editing applications.
The Cupertino giant is tinkering with new technologies that will eventually bring foldable displays to its flagship products. For the iOS casino games fans, this would represent a giant leap forward and greatly enhance the gaming experience. Apple would like this technology to become available in 2017, but it’s fair to assume they won’t get it done in time for the new iPad Mini.
The best Apple iPad Mini yet
Don’t let the tiny size of the new iPad mini deceive you, because it comes packed with tech specifications that are bound to impress. The base model will have a 32GB capacity, a smaller but more effective battery and a 7.9in Retina IPS display with 3D touch. The new gadget won’t have a headphone port, as Apple is expected to stick to the lightning port recently introduced on their iPhone seven devices. Some questions were left unanswered in regard with the NFC, but most likely buyers will only be able to use Apple Pay.
