A comforting twist to designer heels

A comforting twist to designer heels

Let’s be honest, we are all guilty of sacrificing comfort for a pair of killer (literally) heels. Style seems so much more important than comfort when choosing footwear for that special night out. We look and feel fantastic at the start of the evening, but as the night progresses we can barely walk on our blister-infested feet. So you will be happy to know we bring you the long-awaited news of a pair of heels designed to look great and feel great. Don’t believe us? Read on…

Design Comfort Shoes offer a fanciful selection of footwear – so aesthetically pleasing you are sure to question their comfort. These heels have unique mechanical components in their sole technology giving a bounce to each step.

If you’re one of those women who just can’t cope without your heels and find your bunions growing every day, you will be delighted to hear Design Comfort Shoes include toe bed and comfort stretch material. They are cut to accommodate the natural fit of women’s feet, preventing many potential foot issues associated with years of wearing designer shoes that favour style over comfort.  This patent-pending comfort stretch material expands as needed.

And that’s not all – a gel foot bed and slip resistant outer sole add more perks that prevent that perfect night turning into either an embarrassing fall or shoeless walk home.

They are all the comfort aspects of the shoes but what we really want to know is how they look… right?

The revolutionary brand, founded by Ilene Greenberg, has a spring collection featuring three colours and 12 different styles. From classic peep-toe sling backs, to cut-out peek-a-boo pumps, to ankle straps, to genuine leather finishing there is a good range to suit different tastes and outfits.

“Design Comfort Shoes will change a woman’s perception of what to expect in a stylish yet comfortable shoe,” said Greenberg. “Working in collaboration with a German engineering and design firm, Italian craftsmen and medical professionals we have done just that.”

She is currently seeking investors through the crowd funding site FundAnything, and hopes to raise $250,000 within 40 days to step up production and wider distribution of her collection of classic and comfortable high-heels. Those contributing $25 to $1000+ will receive various perks including pairs of shoes.

So there you have it ladies, if you really hate those torturous nights or days hobbling about in painful heels you may now have your solution!
