This year’s #SheInspiresMe car boot sale is taking place on Saturday 12th May and promises to be bigger and better than before. This is your chance to join such designers and brands as Charlotte Olympia, Vestiaire Collective and Hikari Yokoyama to try and score some absolute fashion bargains with all proceeds going to charity organisation Women for Women International.

Stalls will be overflowing with designer items at the #SheInspiresMe car boot sale, a great chance for fashionistas to find some absolute fashion steals. Aside from the car boots there will also be beauty stations (featuring names like Charlotte Tilbury and SASSOON), restoration and upcycling stalls to personalise and restore pre-loved items, and lots of food and drink pop-ups from some of London’s best restaurants and bars.

Last year’s event raised over £159,000 for charity organisation Women for Women International. The charity seeks to help women survivors of war and focuses on giving them the tools to rebuild their lives and the lives of their families. In the past 23 years the charity has helped nearly half a million women in areas affected by war.

This is the third year the car boot sale is being held and it has rapidly become one of the most highly-anticipated fashion events of the year. Last year tickets sold out weeks in advance. Following this success, this year’s event will be held at Brewer Street Car Park, increasing the capacity to host more shoppers and car boots. “We’re thrilled to be in this exciting venue and able to host so many people and stalls,” says Alex Eagle, creative director of The Store and Alex Eagle Studio and this year’s host of the sale. Eagle is a Special Adviser for Women for Women International, involved with the car boot sale from the beginning and instrumental to its success.

“It is incredible to see how much the #SheInspiresMe car boot sale has grown,” says Brita Fernandez Schmidt, executive director for Women for Women International, “I am so grateful to all of our contributor for participating in this incredible event – the chicest car boot sale ever!” This year’s event will be hosted in partnership with luxury online retailer THE OUTNET.COM who stated they are “very proud to support the worthy charity.”
