Is it just us, or is Christmas Eve somehow even more exciting than the big day itself?

Every year the thought of getting into our cosiest clothing, sipping hot chocolate, and watching a Christmas movie fills us with more joy than any other part of the holiday season.

If you’re eagerly nodding along, we have the edit for you little elves! Here are some amazing festive pjs you need to get your hands on in time for the 24th…

Fleece penguin print pyjamas, £15, M&S

You can’t beat a festive button-down and long trousers on a chilly winter’s night! Luckily, M&S have delivered with this adorable set, complete with a wintry penguin print.

Family Christmas slogan check pyjamas, £27, Next

Next have pulled it out of the bag with these classic checked pyjamas. They’re incredibly festive thanks to their traditional print but have a modern slogan twist. What’s more, the entire family can get in on this cosy action. Think of the photographs!

Pom-pom fleece onesie, £35, John Lewis

We defy anyone to find cosier jammies than these. This super snuggly onesie zips through the front to keep you warm and even has a furry hood. We won’t blame you for not changing out of this one until the New Year!

Christmas mix and match jersey pyjamas, £18, Asos Design

Not all of us can sleep in long-sleeved fluffy pyjamas, no matter how cold it is! If you’re one such person, these gorgeous red jersey pyjamas from Asos would be perfect. Pair the shorts and T-shirt together or shop their other mix and match pieces to make a set that works for you.

Shelter jersey pyjamas, £59, FatFace

Their incredibly cute design and soft cotton finish aren’t the only reasons to adore this must-have printed set. 10% of every sale goes directly to Shelter to help those struggling with bad housing and homelessness.

Nutcracker eco pyjamas, £35, Chelsea Peers NYC

Don’t judge us but we’re making this nutcracker set a top priority for our pre-Christmas shopping list! From the perfect print to the cosy cuffs, they’re everything we’re looking for in festive loungewear. Plus, they’re made from 95% recycled materials.

Naughty or Nice Christmas pyjamas, £18, George at Asda

Whether you’ve been good or bad, we highly recommend adding this luxurious velvet set to your cart whilst shopping for the turkey and trimmings!
