Five Vegas attractions for an adrenaline rush

Five Vegas attractions for an adrenaline rush

Las Vegas has so many attractions and events that there truly is something for everyone. While some people come to Vegas to hang out by the pool or de-stress with a shopping spree, others want excitement and adventure.

The good news is there are many adventures to be had in the city and surrounding areas. Visitors can have a thrilling night out on the town with friends, or more of a family-friendly experience with amusement park-style rides. Finally, there’s even the rush and awe of the great outdoors with many nearby places to see.

Whatever it is that gets the blood pumping, Vegas has many destinations that are perfect for some adrenaline. Consider the following:

Plan a nightclub rotation

Many people come to Vegas to party, and there’s nothing wrong with wanting to experience Sin City to its fullest. But it can be overwhelming to know where to start with so many options. Everywhere one looks on the Strip, there are places to play, drink and experience.

Often, the best way to figure out the desired nightclub experience is to reach out to some of the hotels in the area. Tourists can also check out some detailed nightclub guides that will help narrow down some of the options for an unforgettable night.

Experience SkyJump Las Vegas

SkyJump is a unique thrill that people can only get in Vegas. From the top of STRAT tower, jumpers do a controlled fall. They’re above the Strip around 800 feet in the air, and then they land on a secure site after being attached to a bungee-type cord. While the fall itself is safe and everyone is strapped in, it’s still highly exhilarating and a little terrifying.

Go rock crawling near Vegas

For those who prefer their adrenaline rush in the great outdoors, going rock crawling is the perfect activity. This allows them to see the beauty of the desert while having a great time. Crawlers go in a Jeep or similar kind of vehicle as an instructor helps them drive over the rough terrain, including some huge rocks. It’s a unique experience that will be unforgettable.

Take a spin in a race car

A similar but different experience to get the heart racing is to try a turn at race car driving. Anyone who’s ever dreamt of getting these kinds of speeds can check out the Richard Petty Driving Experience at the iconic Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Drivers can gain rates well over 100 mph and there are multiple options depending on comfort levels. Drivers can choose a package that involves driving with an instructor or take a safety course and get behind the wheel themselves.

Swim with sharks

Whale sharks might be animals that are misunderstood, but they are still a bit scary to encounter. Luckily, most sharks are very unlikely to hurt anyone. Still, diving with sharks is a perfect idea to feel the thrill of seeing these majestic, powerful creatures. At Mandalay Bay Resort’s shark reef, guests can jump in the water with these iconic predators. This is an excellent opportunity to experience some excitement while supporting a good cause, as the shark reef is an accredited aquarium.

And while it might be exciting, there’s no need to worry. The sharks aren’t going to bite!
