Authentica 10: Pepe in Grani host four-handed dinner series to celebrate tenth anniversary

Franco Pepe’s iconic pizza destination in the small Italian town of Caiazzo, an hour’s drive from Naples, celebrates ten years of work, dedication and commitment to elevating the pizza concept and the pizzaiolo role.

Pepe in Grani are hosting a series of four-handed dinners alongside famous chefs, taking place throughout the year and dubbed Authentica 10. The tenth anniversary of the pizza institution, recently featured on Netflix’s Chef’s Table: Pizza and whose philosophy has always been to value tradition with a focus on innovation, invites top industry professionals to join Pepe in the intimate space where ten guests sit at a counter around a wood-fired oven, which represents the creative heart of the restaurant.

For the inaugural event, the owner hosted his friend chef Giuseppe Iannotti (of two-Michelin-starred Krèsios) and continued with Floriano Pellegrino and Isabella Potì – the duo behind Puglia sensation Bros, who cut their teeth at Hibscus in London. Further into the future, Pepe will be joined by Chris Bianco, Nancy Silverton, Sarah Minnick, Corrado Assenza, Moreno Cedroni, Francesco Sposito, Gabriele Bonci, Antonia Klugman, Christian Puglisi, Ana Roš and Salvatore Bianco, among others, who will be revealed at a later date.

The exclusive places for these unique gastronomic encounters can be booked through the Pepe in Grani website, for a maximum of two people, with all bookings entering a first-come-first-served allocation system for one of their choice of events.
