“It’s sort of a metaphor for when you’re going through something in life and it seems unsurmountable, but there is hope”: Heather Graham and Jesse Metcalfe on On a Wing and a Prayer

“It’s sort of a metaphor for when you’re going through something in life and it seems unsurmountable, but there is hope”: Heather Graham and Jesse Metcalfe on On a Wing and a Prayer

On a Wing and a Prayer is the incredible true story of survival against all odds, as an amateur pilot Doug White has his family’s life in his hands when left to try and land a small plane after the real pilot passes away suddenly. The inspirational tale of faith, with high-stakes thriller sensibilities, is told with household names Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham in the lead roles, with a strong supporting cast bringing to screen the team of people who each played a part in the rescue.

The Upcoming had the pleasure of speaking with Heather Graham and Jesse Metcalfe about why they were drawn to telling this inspirational tale, how they prepared to play their respective characters, the challenges they faced on-set and what they hope people will take away from watching it.
