Prime Video is set to release its latest UK Original series, Dead Hot, a comedy-thriller written by Charlotte Coben and produced by Quay Street Productions. The six-part show will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in the UK on 1st March 2024.

Dead Hot stars Bilal Hasna and BAFTA-nominated Vivian Oparah, who lead a cast including Penelope Wilton, Peter Serafinowicz and Rosie Cavaliero. Set in Liverpool, the series follows best friends Elliot and Jess, played by Hasna and Oparah respectively, as they grapple with grief, love, trauma and identity in their mid-twenties. The story takes a twist when the pair find themselves in the heart of a mystery involving Elliot’s new romantic interest, Will, and a person claiming to be Jess’s brother.

The series is produced by Quay Street Productions, part of ITV Studios, with executive producer Nicola Shindler renowned for hits like It’s A Sin and Happy Valley. Charlotte Coben, known for The Stranger and Fool Me Once, also serves as an executive producer. Dead Hot was filmed in Liverpool and the North West of England, reflecting a commitment to regional storytelling.
