Alex Garland’s new film Civil War starring Kirsten Dunst sets UK release date

Alex Garland, the acclaimed writer-director known for 28 Days LaterEx Machina and Annihilation, is set to captivate audiences once again with his latest film Civil War, which is scheduled for release in UK cinemas, including IMAX, on 12th April 2024.

The film, starring Kirsten Dunst, Cailee Spaeny, Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson and Nick Offerman, promises an adrenaline-fueled journey set in a near-future America teetering on the brink of collapse.

Civil War is a high-octane exploration of a nation divided, with Garland’s signature storytelling and visual flair at the forefront. Just released is the second trailer for the movie, offering a glimpse of the intense narrative and the fractured society in which the story unfolds.
