The Chosen season four: On the red carpet with the cast and creatives for the global premiere

As season four of the acclaimed historical drama The Chosen is unveiled, viewers will delve further into the emotional layers of this biblical reimagining. The entire eight-part series will screen in cinemas for the first time and the epic religious adaptation will once again feature a huge ensemble and recurring cast. Filmmaker Dallas Jenkins is clear that the story is humanistic and relatable yet presented with historical fact that can appeal to a broader global audience.

This new season will focus on the growing importance of Jesus’s (Jonathan Roumie) mission, yet show us the opposition he faced from authorities, different religious faiths and internal conflicts. As we head towards the final months before Jesus’s crucifixion, a huge shift is felt in the storylines as we watch the retelling of Christ’s final chapters and the death of John The Baptist (David Amito), who was part of Jesus’s inner sanctum and helped deliver God’s message to his disciples.
