“It’s about the emotional power of music and its capacity to help us or remind us to live our lives”: Ned Benson on The Greatest Hits

The Greatest Hits, starring Lucy Boynton and Justin H Min, is a new romantic drama with some original sci-fi elements. It tells the story of Harriet, who discovers that listening to certain songs enables her to go back in time and relive various moments from her and her deceased boyfriend’s life. At the same time, she meets David, with whom she becomes strongly enamoured. Harriet will have to decide if she wants to continue a new relationship or try to change her past.

The Upcoming had the pleasure of speaking to the film’s director, Ned Benson, who told us about working on the film, his love for Los Angeles and acknowledging how crucial the soundtrack was in his latest drama.

The Greatest Hits is released on Disney+ on 12th April 2024.
