Mymuybueno Academy launches the UK’s first online culinary courses with Michelin-starred chefs

The mymuybueno Academy of Culinary Arts has launched the UK’s first online culinary training courses, led by some of the nation’s most celebrated chefs. The platform allows aspiring home cooks to master restaurant-quality dishes from the comfort of their own kitchens. The academy, headquartered in Hammersmith, West London, offers an exceptional opportunity for culinary enthusiasts to learn directly from Michelin-starred chefs like Gareth Ward and Adam Handling MBE, as well as other hospitality talents such as Harriet Mansell and Tom Booton.

The courses cover a wide range of cuisines and techniques, from two Michelin-starred Gareth Ward’s six-course Ynyshir tasting menu to the Lobster Thermidor Tart by Tom Booton at The Dorchester; from one Michelin-starred Frog by Adam Handling Lobster, Crab, Lemongrass, to Sally Abé’s perfect Venison Wellington. Participants can also delve into plant-based dishes with Great British Menu’s Kirk Haworth and explore advanced plating and presentation. The mymuybueno Academy of Culinary Arts aims to provide a comprehensive, step-by-step learning experience, making professional culinary skills accessible to home cooks worldwide.

Justine Murphy, Founder and CEO of mymuybueno, expressed her enthusiasm for the project, saying “Our focus is on providing the very best training in culinary arts, in a step-by-step module format, so that competent home cooks can learn with confidence every step of the way. This is a more intimate way of learning than ever before, as you are right there, one-to-one with the chef”. The courses are designed to be as user-friendly as possible, with unlimited access once enrolled, allowing students to learn at their own pace. The academy also offers House Chef courses, focusing on specific skills and techniques, ranging from pastry making to lobster preparation, ramen noodles, brioche, lamb butchery and more.

With prices starting at £45 for individual modules, Guest Chef Courses are priced at £300, and professional courses begin at £650. Each course comes with downloadable PDF recipes, ingredient lists, and equipment requirements to ensure participants are well-prepared to make the most of each session.
