Bébé Bob teams up with Ryan Chetiyawardana for a caviar-infused cocktail and snack menu

Soho’s Bébé Bob has collaborated with bartender Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan, and his team at Mr Lyan Studio to launch a new cocktail menu complemented by caviar-infused bar snacks. This partnership aims to blend the playful essence of Bébé Bob with the innovative cocktail expertise of Chetiyawardana, who has frequented the restaurant since its opening.

The menu introduces special offerings such as the Frites Royale, a creative take on the Kir Royal inspired by Chetiyawardana’s favourite snack pairing at Bébé Bob—French fries and champagne. Another highlight is the Chicken Bone Negroni, which incorporates roasted chicken bones, adding a savoury twist to the classic cocktail. The accompanying bar snacks menu features items the likes of Schnuggets, crispy chicken schnitzel nuggets, and Lemon & Caviar Doughnuts, all available with or without caviar.

Reflecting on his inspiration behind the collaboration, Ryan Chetiyawardana said: “Bébé Bob became a firm favourite of Alex [Alex Lawrence Milia, Managing Director and co-owner of Mr Lyan group] and I after we went down on the invitation of some friends for ‘champagne, chicken and caviar’ (that’s what our calendar invitation excitedly promised too), and we were so impressed by the uniqueness and confidence of the restaurant. It’s become a regular haunt for us since, and so we were really excited when Leonid wanted to chat to us about trying to bring a similar boldness to the cocktail offering,”

Leonid Shutov, the founder of Bébé Bob and its sister restaurant Bob Bob Ricard, expressed his enthusiasm about working with Chetiyawardana. “We were very excited to see Ryan among our early regulars at Bébé Bob, so when our thoughts turned to bespoke cocktails we could not think of anyone better to approach for collaboration. It has been incredibly exciting working with the world’s leading authority on cocktails and we can’t wait to share the results with customers old and new,” Shutov commented.

The collaboration also marks the introduction of a revamped à la carte menu at Bébé Bob, comprising a selection of dishes centred around chicken, including a new Chicken Schnitzel made with slow-grown Cotswold chicken.

Bébé Bob, located at 37 Golden Square in Soho, London, is open from Tuesday to Saturday, offering lunch and dinner services.
