GRAMMY Award-winning American sibling duo Larkin Poe is set to release their new album titled Bloom on 24th January 2025. The Nashville-based multi-instrumentalists, Rebecca and Megan Lovell, are building on their recent success, having won a GRAMMY for their previous album Blood Harmony in February of the same year. The upcoming album promises an in-depth exploration of themes of self-acceptance, individuality and the human experience, blending Southern rock, blues, and Americana.

The album Bloom is described as a significant advancement in the duo’s career, showcasing their unique ability to blend storytelling with music. Songs such as If God Is a WomanBluephoria and Pearls explore various aspects of personal and societal challenges, including the struggle against typecasting and the complexities of life in the digital age. Early reviews have praised the album, with Record Collector highlighting it as the band reaching their peak and Uncut noting their distinctive sound in the roots-rock arena.

In addition to the album release, Larkin Poe has been announced as featured artists in a forthcoming two-hour special produced by T Bone Burnett and featuring music legend Ringo Starr. The special will also include performances with other renowned artists like Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris and Jack White. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in their career, aligning them with some of the biggest names in the music industry.

Larkin Poe’s exploration of their musical and thematic boundaries in Bloom reflects their growth as artists committed to authenticity and musical innovation. The album is not just a collection of songs but a reflection of their personal experiences and societal observations.

The duo continues to receive support from various quarters in the UK, having been previously praised by The Arts Desk, Classic Rock, Guitarist and other notable publications. Their music resonates with a broad audience, thanks to its deep roots in American musical traditions and its contemporary relevance.

As Larkin Poe continues to navigate their careers post their GRAMMY win, Bloom represents not just another album but a pivotal moment of artistic expression and recognition in the broader music landscape.
