Prawn on the Lawn launches Oyster Happy Hour in Highbury

Highbury seafood restaurant Prawn on the Lawn has introduced a new Oyster Happy Hour, offering discounted oysters during select hours each week. Beginning this summer without an end date yet in sight, customers can buy six oysters for £10 from Wednesday to Friday at 3 to 5.30pm, and on weekends from 12 to 2pm, on a first-come, first-served basis.

The restaurant has built a reputation for its seafood-focused menu with a focus on fresh, sustainably sourced produce. It originally launched in 2013, with a second site in Padstow, Cornwall opening in 2015, and has since developed a loyal following. This latest initiative aims to attract both regular patrons and new visitors with the limited-time offer, which encourages spontaneous visits and short stop-ins ahead of dinner service. The deal is available for dining in only, so far exclusively at the Highbury location, and no reservations are required or accepted.

In addition to oysters, Prawn on the Lawn is serving a selection of cocktails during the Happy Hour, including options such as the Kimchi Paloma, Plum Sake Negroni and Matcha Whisky Sour, all intended to complement the oysters.
