Genshin Impact’s 5th Anniversary event is here, bringing a bunch of fun activities, each with its own rewards. When is the 5th anniversary?

The Genshin Impact 5th Anniversary event drops on September 28th, 2025. This is the time when Genshin Impact was first released to the world. The missive of grace login mail rewards

Logging in during the 5th Anniversary event immediately provides free daily rewards delivered through in-game mail. Logging in as soon as the event begins ensures that every reward is collected. The same approach applies to other login events, the completion of daily tasks and progress on limited-time quests.

The silvery flux daily login event

Besides the mail rewards, additional login prizes are available through the event tab in Genshin Impact. Simply entering the game can yield up to 10 Intertwined Fates for pulling on the current character banners. Other rewards include extra Mora and Ascension materials. The event runs from 1 October to 21 October 2025.

The free 5-star character invitation

One of the most exciting parts of the 5th Anniversary update is the free 5-star character available to players. Upon first login when the event begins, a special 5-star character invitation is provided. This invitation allows selection of a free 5-star character from the Wanderlust Invocation banner. After a choice is made, the selected character remains permanently unlocked.

The free constellation event: To temper thyself and journey far

Along with the free characters and login rewards, players can also earn a free constellation to power up their characters! To do so, it will require more effort than simply logging in every day. This time, logging in and completing daily tasks is required. Most players follow this routine already, so the challenge should be minimal. This event runs from 10 September to 1 December 2025.

The clink clank clash event

The Clink Clank Clash event is another easy and more engaging way to earn rewards during the 5th Anniversary update. Here, players will have to complete a series of quests and tasks, most involving combat. Simply complete every quest to guarantee some rewards like Primogems, Crown of Insight, and materials to ascend characters. Each set of missions unlocks from September 12th to September 16th on specific days.

The “It starts in nod-krai” event

The final event happening during the 5th Anniversary of Genshin Impact is the ‘It Starts in Nod-Krai’ web event. This event is a little more unique than the rest. Instead of interacting through the game, preregistration for version 6.0 of Genshin is required through the player account. After registration, 40 Primogems are granted simply for signing up. Once version 6.0 of Genshin Impact arrives, those who preregistered will receive additional rewards to support progression. Registration is open from 29 August to 24 September 2025.
