A new collaborative dinner series will launch in London’s Mayfair this autumn, bringing together chef de cuisine Alex Povall of Serra restaurant and Somerset-based culinary duo Jules and Steve Horrell of Horrell & Horrell. The Farm-to-Mayfair Table evenings will take place at Serra, located within The Chancery Rosewood hotel, aiming to highlight seasonal British produce and the close relationship between chefs and small-scale producers.

The series features four-course menus created jointly by Povall and the Horrells, based on ingredients grown, reared or foraged at the the couple’s smallholding. Each offering will reflect what is seasonally available at the time, with dishes remaining undisclosed until the evening itself. Guests can expect a communal dining experience designed to echo the conviviality of the Horrells’ own home-based events.

Horrell & Horrell, launched in 2023, are known for their fire-led feasts and hyper-local sourcing. They host regular shared-table occasions in a converted cow barn on their property, with no fixed menu and a focus on hospitality and seasonality. “Our dinners at home are always about generosity and bringing people together,” they said. “Working with Alex at Serra allows us to bring that spirit from Somerset to Mayfair, sharing what’s in season on our land – whether reared, grown, or foraged – and celebrating it around the table.”

The first three dinners are scheduled for 29th October and 26th November 2025, and 26th March 2026. Reservations are priced at £95 per person, which includes a four-course meal and a welcome aperitif. An optional wine pairing, curated by The Chancery Rosewood’s director of wine, Jeffrey Koren, is available for an additional £50. The hotel’s director of bars, Liana Oster, will also contribute a bespoke aperitif for each evening. In addition to the dinner service, a selection of Horrell & Horrell’s seasonal preserves and condiments will be available for purchase at GSQ, the hotel’s neighbourhood delicatessen, offering guests a chance to take home a taste of the collaboration.

Povall, who has led Serra since its opening, emphasised the importance of working with producers like the Horrells. “Horrell & Horrell are exactly the kind of producers who inspire the way we cook at Serra,” he said. “They live by the seasons, and every meal is a reflection of what’s at its best right now. This series gives us the chance to bring that same energy to Mayfair, with a menu shaped by the land.”
