Wagamama to host exclusive New Year’s Eve supper club with live music and top fireworks views on the South Bank

Wagamama will host a New Year’s Eve event at their Royal Festival Hall location on 31st December, offering guests a four-course meal, live music and views of the South Bank fireworks. The evening, which begins at 7pm, is priced from £195 per person and includes entertainment, a glass of prosecco at midnight and a gift bag.

The restaurant, located on the Thames riverfront opposite Embankment Pier and near the London Eye, will be transformed into a supper club for the night, where guests will be served a specially curated menu featuring both classic and new dishes from the pan-Asian chain. There will be popular items such as katsu curry and yaki soba, as well as newer additions like katsu udon and gochujang pork belly ramen. To accompany the food, the venue is presenting live performances from London-based soul and jazz musicians throughout the evening, creating what organisers hope will be a “soulful, lively atmosphere”.

As time flies, bellies fill and drinks flow, towards midnight, diners will have one of the best possible views of the city’s famous fireworks. The team says, “Guests will get the spectacular view of the London fireworks display, making this the ideal venue to celebrate New Year’s Eve with friends and family”.

Wagamama, which opened its first restaurant in Bloomsbury in 1992, is known for its Japanese-inspired menu and communal dining style. This special event is one of the brand’s more exclusive offerings, and marks a departure from their usual fast-paced, casual format. Instead, the Royal Festival Hall branch will offer what is described as a more intimate dining experience to ring in 2026 in the heart of town.

Tickets are available to buy online now, and advance booking essential.
