Independent Label Market is back in London this spring, taking over Coal Drops Yard on 9th May for a day dedicated to vinyl, music and independent culture.

Now in its 15th year, the event brings together more than 100 labels alongside artists, makers and local brewers, turning King’s Cross into an open-air hub for crate digging, live music and DJ sets. Entry is free.

This year’s line-up includes established names such as 4AD, Ninja Tune, Mute and Domino, alongside newer labels offering a snapshot of emerging scenes. Highlights include One Little Independent celebrating its 40th anniversary, while Hyperdub returns to the market after several years away. Majazz Project also joins the bill, focusing on reissues of vintage Arab vinyl and cassette culture.

Music runs throughout the day, with DJ sets powered by Audio Gold and a live stage spotlighting emerging artists from participating labels. Voices Radio will also broadcast live from the site, adding to the day-long soundtrack.

Beyond the records, the market expands into a wider cultural space, with appearances from Disco Pogo, the Rock & Roll Public Library and War Child, alongside stalls from independent brewers.

The London event follows a new Bristol edition launching on 25th April in collaboration with Bristol New Music Festival, marking an expansion for the long-running series.

Blending record fair, festival and community meet-up, Independent Label Market continues to serve as a key gathering point for fans and labels alike.
