Nicholas Hoult and Zoë Kravitz take bank robbery viral in new action thriller How to Rob a Bank

Bank robberies, social media fame and an increasingly dangerous game of cat and mouse collide in How to Rob a Bank, the new action thriller from Bullet Train and The Fall Guy director David Leitch. Starring Nicholas Hoult and Zoë Kravitz, the film arrives in UK cinemas on 13th November, with a second trailer offering another look at its unconventional criminals.
At the centre of the story is a gang of bank robbers who have found a way to turn their crimes into online entertainment, broadcasting their heists and attracting a growing audience. But their viral success comes at a cost, drawing the attention of a veteran FBI agent and a talented software engineer who join forces to track them down.
Rather than retreating as the authorities close in, the crew becomes increasingly ambitious, pushing towards its biggest robbery yet. Their actions are driven by beliefs that go beyond simply stealing money, although their growing notoriety threatens to undermine everything they are trying to achieve.
Alongside Hoult and Kravitz, the cast includes Shōgun star Anna Sawai, Rhenzy Feliz, Christian Slater, Pete Davidson and John C Reilly, bringing together an ensemble of actors from across film, television and comedy.
Leitch, who began his career as a stunt performer and coordinator before moving into directing, has become known for action films that combine elaborate set pieces with humour, including Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2 and Bullet Train. His latest film brings that approach to a contemporary crime story in which the robbers are as interested in being watched as they are in getting away.
With its mix of heists, online celebrity and a pursuit involving both traditional law enforcement and modern technology, How to Rob a Bank puts a distinctly digital spin on the familiar bank robbery thriller.
