Camden Market is hosting a weekly vintage market at Hawley Wharf every Saturday this autumn

Camden Market is hosting a free, open-air vintage market every Saturday this autumn in partnership with North London car boot operator Bootyfull Car Boot. The weekly event runs at Hawley Wharf from 3^rd October to 28^th November, between 11am and 5pm, returning the market to the secondhand and vintage trade on which it was founded in 1974.

Stalls will sell vintage clothing, retro accessories, vinyl records, original artwork and jewellery, and of course food and drink will be available from the street food traders already based on site. Visitors and vendors have a chance to attend on nine consecutive Saturdays, and independent sellers keen to take part can book a pitch for £40, which includes a table.

Bootyfull Car Boot began in Kentish Town in 2022 and now runs its regular events at William Ellis School in Highgate. The Camden series is the first time the organisers have brought their format to the market. Founder Sharon Steele explained: “Bootyfull Car Boot first started in 2022 and we’ve held events across North London since. We’re really excited to bring this concept to Camden Market for the first time, with a focus on vintage and retro, which is a great fit with the market’s history.”

The Saturday pop-up sits alongside Camden Market’s permanent traders, and visitors will be able to move between the stalls and the existing shops and food outlets at Hawley Wharf.
