One Marylebone unveils autumn and winter menus for seasonal events
One Marylebone, the Grade I-listed former church on Marylebone Road that was reincarnated in 2008 as an events venue, has launched a series of new seasonal menus for autumn and winter. Prepared by the in-house catering team, the selections cover a range of occasions, from Christmas parties and weddings to birthdays and networking receptions, served in the gallery spaces, the Soane Hall and the underground Vaults.
Couples planning weddings can choose from a three-course menu, with dishes including Miso-Glazed Cod and Lamb Two Ways (a Shepherd’s Pie served alongside herb-crusted rump, roast carrot purée and a mint and caper relish). Additional pre-courses and a cheeseboard can be added to extend the meal.
For Christmas parties, there’s a four-course menu running from canapés through to dessert with a main course of Roast Norfolk Turkey and a Festive Mince and Almond Tart for dessert.
A seated dining menu is aimed at special get-togethers such as birthdays. Options run from a Sea Trout Tartare starter to a Mango Pebble dessert, all served with freshly baked bread rolls, and with vegetarian and vegan options also available.
For standing events like networking receptions, the team offers canapés from Roast Angus Beef to Crispy Prawn Toast and Cauliflower Cheese Fritters. A separate Bowl & Grab menu features Venison Ragu and a Rainbow Poke Bowl, along with late-night options including a Dexter Cheeseburger and a selection of bao buns.
The Sharing and Feasting format begins with a grazing board, after which guests select two sharing mains, three sides and one dessert. For larger social gatherings, a Grab & Buffet menu offers hot buffet, barbecue, late-night and dessert bar options, each accompanied by salads and sides.
The venue can seat 100 guests in each of its wings, while the Soane Hall accommodates up to 320 people for dinner and the Vault seats up to 100 – so whatever the seasonal occasion, One Marylebone has it covered.
