MTV Movie Awards 2017: Red carpet
The MTV Movie Awards is an event we all wish we could be a part of – from being styled in glamorous gowns to attending all those after-parties! But we all know it’s secretly about who’s wearing what on the red carpet. So we have narrowed down our favourite looks seen this year.
All eyes were on Emma Watson after the win of Beauty and the Beast. Not only did she get her hands on the award, she got her hands on this gorgeous, elegant gown. She put some youth into her deconstructed dress, with ripped hems and big sequins.
We have the razors at the ready as Cara Delevingne is rocking super short hair… If only we could pull it off as well! She never fails to make an imprint on fashion. Anything to get those killer pins out.
White is the new black and with those cowboy boots Millie Bobby Brown rode to the top with one of our favourite red carpet looks.
Whoever said sequins were for teenagers? Taraji P Henson put those myths to rest in this show-stopping glitter gown. The rose gold turtleneck dress was worth celebrating, as well as that award.
Any supermodel is going to look great, even if they walked the red carpet in a bin bag. But this outfit is something to talk about. Forget dark colours, it’s all about colour blocking. Ever feel like two shadesdon’t go well together? We recommend adding a belt to tie everything together, just as Jourdan Dunn did here.
Yara Shahidi showed us you can still rock the red carpet in a dressy yet casual ensemble. She mixed it up with different prints and fabrics, and we loved it.
Zendaya’s embellished dress works wonders with the green mesh finish. The cap sleeves added an elegant touch to the masterpiece. Being one of the faces of the brand Covergirl, she is definitely our cover girl for future style inspiration.
