JW Anderson has teamed up with Converse

London-based fashion designer, JW Anderson, has debuted his latest collaboration with the brand Converse during his SS18 runway show at Pitti Uomo in Florence. Anderson showcased his take on the classic Converse style with a modern twist that features sparkled and vibrant colours.

For this collaboration, there is a range of All Star colourways up for grabs including a colour blocked green, red and blue trainer and a pair that includes the designers JW Anderson logo printed across it.

Talking to the Business of Fashion, Anderson stated, “I’ve been wearing Converse for years and years, so when they approached me I couldn’t turn it down because it’s something that I wear… It’s the first time I’m excited about projecting myself into product, which is a weird and new thing for me. The collection for me feels more like an intimate portrayal of myself.”

Not only is the collection unisex but Anderson has described this collaboration as a long-term partnership so expect many more creative revamps on the Converse classics to come.

For those ready to click add to shopping cart, you’ll have to wait a while longer to get your hands on a pair since the collection is expected to drop sometime this autumn.
