Unless it’s a sleepy Sunday in our pyjamas, then the majority of our week is spent wearing things that we think look fantastic and make us feel special. And why shouldn’t they? If you’ve dressed up for an event and wearing an outfit that doesn’t make you feel like a million quid, then why bother wearing it at all? Whilst you might have that gorgeous dress, a hairstyle with curls straight from the runway and lipstick hot enough to stop traffic, but if you don’t have that remarkable accessory, then the outfit will always be at 95% awesomeness, and we want you at 100% at all times.

Let’s set the scene: it’s a Friday night and the girls have invited you to an epic all-night danceathon. You’re dressed and nearly ready to go, but think you’re missing just a few stunning accessories. The only solution is that you’ll need these pieces which contain the undeniable wow factor.

Head over heels

Have heels ever not been in style? They are sexy, sleek, and basically make people swoon. Of course, heels come in all shapes and sizes, but somewhere, somehow, there is always a pair of heels right for every girl. If you’re a bit of a rocker, then black leather with a few metal studs is the way. If you consider yourself more of a classy girl but with a bit of an edge, then you can’t go wrong with a red-coloured strapless pair with a three-inch heel. And hey, if you just want to create a bit of a stir without the whole world knowing, then an off-white pair with a two-inch heel is just what you’re after.

As for brands, it’s best to go for a big brand name like Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Chanel, or even Vivienne Westwood. See what’s trending with heels and find something that you think you would absolutely rock.

Watch out for this

What lady could refuse a bit of bling? There’s a time for smartwatches and a fun Swatch watch, but if you’re having a night on the town, then you’re here to impress. So, how exactly can you astound someone with just a watch? Well, when that watch is a Patek Philippe, then that definitely helps. This is a brand that arguably takes the art of watchmaking perhaps far more seriously than anyone else, which is certainly saying something when there are other longstanding Swiss watch manufacturers out there like Rolex and Omega. Patek Philippe watches simply look marvellous with the appearance of barely trying. This, of course, isn’t true, because a lot of care and effort goes into every watch, but the fact that you could have a watch that doesn’t try to show off and still captures the attention of everyone around you is really something else.

We’re talking timeless designs and materials of the highest quality, all with the knowledge that the inner workings of the watch are actually a true masterpiece, so it’s clear why watch enthusiasts all have so much respect for Patek Philippe. True, they can be a tad pricey, but if you know where to look, then you may well be able to find a spectacular model far cheaper than the normal high street price.

Bold statement

For the pièce de résistance, you’re really going to have to go big and bold with a statement necklace. These aren’t called statement necklaces for no reason, as these are designed to catch the eye and make the wearer feel like they own the room. Pearl necklaces are undoubtedly a great selection if you want something classy and sophisticated, but they aren’t the only options. It’s often not about the material itself, although there’s no harm in going for pure gold or silver, but the statement comes in the design.

For something to cover your neckline in a grandiose way, you don’t necessarily have to buy something incredibly expensive from a known jewellery maker, you can purchase one from an independent artist using Etsy. The designs are wonderful and the prices are very reasonable, but what’s great about Etsy is that you’ll know that there’s not a good chance that many other girls will be wearing the same thing! Perfect if you’re the jealous type.

There are many other accessories that will likewise give you the wow factor, like rings, bags and earrings, but we think that a necklace, pair of heels and a watch are the best trio for a girl who wants to make an entrance!
