Dinner for Hamish: A charity dinner at Perilla with Phil Howard, Merlin Labron-Johnson, Gary Foulkes and Aaron Potter

On Monday 16 April Perilla Restaurant in Stoke Newington will host a one-off charity dinner with a menu featuring dishes cooked by some of London’s top chefs. The evening will be held to raise funds in support of St Christopher’s Hospice, who cared for a close friend of co-owner Ben Marks, Hamish Neve-Dunn, before he passed away with leukaemia last year and all ticket profits will be given to them.

Head Chef Ben Marks will be joined by leading industry figure Phil Howard, of Elystan Street, Merlin Labron-Johnson and Joshua Meiseman of Portland Restaurant, Gary Foulkes of Angler Restaurant and Aaron Potter of Trinity, each of which will prepare their own bespoke dish. The six-course menu will include snacks and bread by Ben Marks; Steamed Hispi Cabbage with a Coddle Egg Dressing, Truffle, Parmesan and Morels by Phil Howard; Roast Scallop, Stuffed Pigs Foot, Iberian Ham and Hazel Nuts by Gary Foulkes; Pot Roast Chicken with Sauce Albufera and Boulangere Potatoes by Aaron Potter; and Blood Orange Curd with Tarragon Ice Cream and Burnt Meringue by Merlin Labron-Johnson and Joshua Meiseman.
