Cara Delevingne and Luke Treadaway to Star in West End’s Cabaret

Cara Delevingne and Luke Treadaway are set to take on the iconic roles of Sally Bowles and The Emcee, respectively, in the West End production of the musical Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club starting from 11th March 2024. The acclaimed show, which has won a record-breaking seven Olivier Awards, will welcome the actress and model Delevingne and Olivier Award-winning actor Treadaway until 1st June 2024.

Delevingne, known for her work in the entertainment and fashion industries, has expressed her thrill at making her stage debut at home in such a pivotal role. Treadaway, acclaimed for his performance in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, shared his excitement about joining what he describes as an extraordinary production.

The pair will join a cast that includes Michael Ahomka-Lindsay as Clifford Bradshaw, Beverley Klein as Fraulein Schneider and Teddy Kempner as Herr Schultz, with Nic Myers set to play Sally Bowles once a week. The production, directed by Rebecca Frecknall with set and costume design by Tom Scutt, has transformed one of London’s most famous theatres into an in-the-round auditorium, offering guests an immersive experience with pre-show entertainment.

Cabaret, based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood, features music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb. The show has captivated audiences with its classic songs such as Wilkommen and Maybe This Time, and continues to be celebrated as a landmark musical theatre experience. The show is now booking until February 2025.

Delevingne and Treadaway’s addition to the cast is expected to bring fresh energy to the production, which has already been praised for its innovative and atmospheric staging. As the show prepares for their arrival, fans can look forward to experiencing Cabaret with these two new stars at the helm.
