Skyline Manchester: Chauffeur Services Group unveils a new ultra-luxury tier for autumn

Chauffeur Services Group is preparing to roll out Skyline Manchester in October, a top-tier service aimed at travellers who value a quiet car, an unflustered driver and the feeling that their day just got easier. The launch pairs in-terminal Meet & Greet at Manchester Airport with a refreshed flagship fleet and a small team who look after the fiddly bits – flight delays, last-minute restaurant holds, the inevitable road closures on matchdays.
Rather than a single “category”, Skyline Manchester is a way of running journeys. Cars are long-wheelbase saloons and lounge-style MPVs, chosen for space and hush rather than flash. Rear cabins get their own climate control and charging, there’s Wi-Fi on board, and the refreshment console is kept sensibly stocked. Families can ask for ISOFIX seats to be fitted before collection; corporate travellers can have a nameboard with discreet branding at arrivals.
A Chauffeur Services Group spokesperson said: “Manchester’s calendar has never been busier – concerts, conferences, two huge football grounds and an airport that never really sleeps. Skyline Manchester is our promise to keep the travel bit calm and predictable.”
The initial focus will be the familiar corridors – Manchester Airport to the city centre, Spinningfields, MediaCityUK and key hotels – plus flexible, “as-directed” bookings that keep the same driver on hand between meetings. Event nights at Co-op Live and AO Arena will use pre-agreed rendezvous points to avoid the post-show crush. Weddings get the classics: ribboned saloons for the couple, MPVs for guests, bottled water all round and someone who remembers the timings.
Behind the scenes, a 24/7 operations desk watches the clock and the traffic. Flights are tracked; collections move when they have to. If plans change mid-route (they do), the driver gets an updated brief and the passenger gets a clear confirmation with contact details – not a mystery number that goes to voicemail.
Electric and hybrid options are available where they make sense – quieter through town, cleaner too – while longer, stop-start days may still call for a hybrid or conventional engine. The point is to choose the right car for the job, not the loudest headline.
Bookings for Skyline Manchester open 12 August 2025, with pre-registration available from today. Early corporate onboarding includes account management and consolidated invoicing. To request an itinerary or a fixed fare, contact the bookings team at Chauffeur Services Group.
