The world’s longest-running play The Mousetrap welcomes a new cast to the West End

Agatha Christie’s iconic murder mystery The Mousetrap has unveiled a new cast at London’s St Martin’s Theatre, where the world’s longest-running play continues its record-breaking West End run more than 73 years after opening in 1952.

Saranna Parlone takes on the role of Mollie Ralston, joined by Ben Riddle as Giles Ralston, Stefan Chanyaem as Christopher Wren, Joanne Henry as Mrs Boyle, James Staddon as Major Metcalf, Anna Rawlings as Miss Casewell, Dugald Bruce-Lockhart as Mr Paravicini and Ben Galvin as Detective Sergeant Trotter. Completing the company are Nancy Doubledee, Bella Farr, Barnaby Jago, Richard Parnwell and Clive Marlowe.

The long-running thriller reached another milestone last year when it celebrated its 30,000^th West End performance and received a Guinness World Records certificate recognising it as the longest theatrical run in history. It is currently booking through to January 2027.

Set in the snowbound Monkswell Manor, The Mousetrap follows seven strangers who find themselves trapped together after news breaks of a murder in London. When a police sergeant arrives, the guests realise a killer is among them, and long-buried secrets begin to emerge as suspicion falls on everyone.

Produced by Brian Fenty and directed by Denise Silvey, The Mousetrap continues performances at St Martin’s Theatre, with tickets available from £25.
