Cirque du Soleil’s KURIOS returns to the Royal Albert Hall for 30th anniversary season

The Royal Albert Hall will be transformed into an honorary big top next January as Cirque du Soleil brings KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities back to London for a strictly limited seven-week season.

Running from 13^th January to 28^th February 2027, the return marks 30 years of Cirque du Soleil’s collaboration with the Royal Albert Hall. KURIOS previously took over the venue in 2023, becoming the company’s most successful production ever presented there.

The show transports audiences into the mechanical laboratory of an eccentric inventor who believes an invisible universe exists beyond the everyday world. When he succeeds in opening the door to it, his cabinet of curiosities comes to life as a collection of unusual characters and performers invades his world.

First premiered in Montreal in 2014, KURIOS mixes Cirque du Soleil’s acrobatics and contortion with physical comedy, poetry and a distinctive retro-futurist, steampunk aesthetic. The production has since been seen by more than seven million people in 50 cities, clocking up over 3,500 performances with a cast of 50 artists.

London will be the final stop on the show’s European tour, giving audiences another chance to see KURIOS beneath the Royal Albert Hall’s famous dome before its seven-week run comes to an end.
