Stunning handcrafted jewellery pieces from Ebba Goring

Stunning handcrafted jewellery pieces from Ebba Goring

After graduating in 2009 in jewellery and metal design, it was obvious which career route Ebba Goring was going to take. She set up a business working from her home studio in Scotland, designing fabulous one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces. Her talent was in such demand that she started to create pieces for galleries, boutique shops, online retailers and she also commissions from private clients. Her speciality is turning something ordinary like handmade textiles into fashionable, contemporary jewellery. Ebba Goring 1

Her collections are stimulated by her love of traditional needlework and creating handmade pieces. She is also intrigued by textile materials and how they can be incorporated into her designs for a timeless statement piece for us to cherish. Ebba Goring 2

Her latest collection is called Knit one pearl one, as all the pieces have some kind of texture which is balanced with coloured gems. This expanding collection is created from hallmarked sterling silver and often the jewellery pieces have a resemblance of crochet and stitched texture with set stones. This creates an innocent and an infinite feeling to each individual piece. Ebba Goring 3

The collection has an underlying theme of vintage. Therefore, you are likely to see stitched texture, laced form, citrine and tasselled gemstones all embedded in sterling silver. This collection is modern, fresh, and earthy yet timeless. The new collection consists of intricate bangles, delicate earrings, ornate studs and stunning necklaces for us to enjoy. Ebba Goring 4

Each piece is versatile, as it can be worn for casual day wear or it can be transformed to be worn in the evening at a special event. The versatility of the designs is that they are bold and beautiful enough to wear in the evening, yet also delicate enough to wear during the day, so you have the best of both worlds.

Ebba Goring has won countless awards for her creations including being awarded the Scottish Arts Council “Craft Start Up” grant in 2009 and the F&A Bradshaw Award in the same year. We wonder what the future holds for Ebba Goring?

Each individual piece comes in a jewellery gift box which is beautifully packaged with luxurious silk ribbons.
