The best beauty boxes in town

The best beauty boxes in town

Here at The Upcoming, we love finding new products, brands and places and testing them out for our readers.

Beauty products are a big problem when choosing what best suits you. With such an extensive and diverse range, where are we supposed to start?

There has been a recent growing popularity with “beauty boxes” – subscription boxes that have launched online. The idea being that you subscribe (just like that of a magazine) and then every month you will receive a lovely little box, full of a selection of samples, travel and full-size to try out.

Although you don’t get to choose what’s in the box, you can see the wide range of brands that the companies use and if like us, you love to try new beauty products but don’t have the bank account or connections like those beauty bloggers do, then this is ideal for you. Even better, there is a massive market out there with lots of different beauty boxes for you to try.

Here are two of our favourites:

First, the Glossybox:

Priced at £10 a box plus £2.95 p+p, the Glossybox comes presented in a glossy pink box wrapped in tissue paper and secured with a pink ribbon. The presentation of these boxes are absolutely beautiful and if you have a love for delicate and precise packaging, then this is for you. Also, when you sign up to your Glossybox you can fill in your personal beauty details so each box is tailored to suit you.

If anyone out there reading this is stuck on a Valentine’s present, Glossybox have produced a box especially for the occasion!

And then there is the natural and organic, Amarya box:

Also £10 per month plus £2.50 p+p, the Amarya box is an organic alternative to the Glossybox. If you are someone who is prone to sensitive skin and is somewhat weary of trying new products then Amarya may be suited to you. The products are presented in a clean white box to mimic the pure and organic products inside. One quick glance at the brands Amarya use just proves that the £10 you are paying is worth it. From our own experience, the box is a bargain and they only stock high-end natural brands.

So, if you’re looking to try a new beauty product this year, don’t waste money buying full sized products after reading endless reviews on beauty blogs, try them out for yourself with these handy beauty boxes.
