The glamorous launch of Omega House – London 2012 official timekeepers

With all eyes on London, OMEGA – the Official Timekeepers of the London 2012 Olympics – triumphed by hosting the celebrity launch party of the Games on Saturday 28th July.

What more does a party need than a sprinkling of Hollywood glamour mixed with the finest UK talent from film, television, music and fashion. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban joined Eddie Redmayne, Kit Harington and party crowd Henry Holland, Zara Martin and Caroline Flack to celebrate the launch of OMEGA House in true style.

Hollywood actress, Nicole Kidman, was the first to arrive at the party, escorted by her husband, US country singer Keith Urban. Nicole dazzled in a beautiful Azzedine Alaia dress and Manolo Blahnik shoes, bringing a touch of international glamour to this hotly anticipated launch event. Proudly showcasing her OMEGA Ladymatic timepiece, Nicole was the highlight of the party with guests flocking to catch a glimpse of her undeniable beauty.

Eddie Redmayne, was as popular as ever with the girls but showed little interest in the beautiful party belles throwing themselves at him. Is PR girl Hannah Bagshawe still his number one? It looks like she is… sorry ladies.

Pulp front-man Jarvis Cocker got the party going in true Cocker style, playing an amazing set and some seriously cool old-school reggae tunes. Henry Holland and his crew were ripping up the dance floor and new boys on the block Lonsdale Boys Club were quick to follow.

Meanwhile, celebrity illusionist, Dynamo, left the guests in total awe and wonder at his incredible acts, drawing guests from across the party.

Nicole and Eddie were the first guests invited to sign the OMEGA House Wall of Fame – an instagram inspired memento board. Let’s see who else is on this by the end of the Olympics… Medallists, and many more international VIPs to follow.

Guests at the launch party were treated to Johnnie Walker Gold Label ‘Golden Moment’ cocktails and sumptuous canapés.

Set in the historic heart of Soho at No. 1 Greek Street, OMEGA has gone above and beyond conventional Olympic entertaining, creating a beautiful and luxurious space for VIPs and athletes to celebrate this year’s Games in style. OMEGA President Stephen Urquhart says, “We are delighted that we were able to secure this historic building in Soho. It is an ideal place to greet old friends and meet new ones in an appealing, comfortable environment.”

VIP attendees included: Mr Stephen Urquhart (OMEGA President), Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Jarvis Cocker, Dynamo, Eddie Redmayne, Jodie Kidd, Caroline Flack, Henry Holland, Kit Harrington, Ben and Marina Fogle, Zara Martin, Tolula Adeyemi, Jenni Falconer, Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs, Immodesty Blaize, Sasha Bailey, Joan Small, Olivia Grant, Jourdan Dunn and Noelle Reno.
