MelikaM: Look and feel amazing with trendy and timeless clothing

Up-and-coming womenswear label MelikaM, combine classic femininity with a touch of glamour to create on-trend separates and timeless occasionwear. The ethos behind the label is wearable and fun fashion that works for both day and night.

Founder Melika Imoru has over ten years of experience designing for some of Britain’s most popular high street brands including River Island, Miss Selfridge and ASOS. With a wealth of experience under her belt, she went on to create her own label, MelikaM in 2009. Every single piece in her collection is imbued with her diverse cultural influences, extensive industry knowledge and excitement for fashion.

The principal idea is that by wearing MelikaM you are guaranteed to look and feel confident and amazing; we can certainly see why!

Coco Blouse - £65

Featured in Drapers magazine, this label has a little something to please everyone. Great for the modern woman who favours the classics – the collection features classic-cut pieces with trendy details bringing the fashion up to date.

Katrina Skirt - £65

The sexy and stylish Katrina Skirt is a definite must-buy – a trendsetting maxi skirt in a stunning cobalt blue with a side split to the hip revealing a mini skirt underneath. Perfect dressed down with a tee for those endless summer barbecues or dressed up for a night out – win win!

Accompanying the core collection is MelikaM Gold – a capsule collection of contemporary, yet timeless occasionwear. The dresses in this range are made from luxurious fabrics, embellished intricately and designed to be flattering for all – the perfect option for that special occasion where you want to look your best.

Sade Dress - £180

My pick is the stunningly detailed Sade Dress – a caramel-coloured strapless number with asymmetrical ruffle detailing. It’s also available in teal.

MelikaM is already stocked in many independent boutiques and is also available to purchase online. I predict we’ll be seeing a lot more from this hidden gem.
