Market Halls pitches London food halls and games rooms to families for October half term

Market Halls says any one of their four central London sites is the place for families to eat and play over the October half term. The venues in Paddington, Victoria, Canary Wharf and Oxford Street house almost 20 independent kitchens between them – and even better, the Oxford Street and Canary Wharf sites also have games.

The setup lets family members order from different kitchens and eat together in shared seating areas. Traders across the sites include classics such as Black Bear Burger and 20ft Fried Chicken. Gopal’s Corner specialises in handmade rotis and laksa, and Fresco makes Neapolitan pizza. For dessert, there’s gelato from the Italian brand Badiani at the Victoria and Canary Wharf branches.

The games halls at Oxford Street and Canary Wharf offer darts, basketball, shuffleboard, pool, air hockey, arcade games and digital golf alongside food and drink service, so families can hang out and play before or after eating.

All four sites are easily reached by major public transport, making them practical for families combining a meal with other activities in the city during the break.
