Five fabulous must-have fashion apps

So, we women are always busy. Constantly multi-tasking whilst still trying to look fantastic is often a task in itself. Trying to tackle our jobs and keeping our hair and outfits perfect is getting difficult in this increasingly hot weather.

We can’t all do a million things, but with these five great fashion and beauty apps we will be able to remain our fabulous selves.

1. eBay Colour Swatch

Technical, chic and smart, this app is a must-have for your smartphone this summer. Say, if you saw an item you liked on a passer-by, a friend or even in a shop; you could take a picture and it would automatically find similar search results on eBay. For example an interesting pattern or material would be searched for in vintage or boutique sections. It’s a great way to keep track of your inspirations and to find aesthetically similar pieces to the ones on your wish list.

2. Stylebook

This iPhone app is personalised to you and your wardrobe. You can add each garment or accessory you own into a catalogue of photos and put together outfits for chosen events. Great if you’re out and about and you’re wondering what to wear that evening. You can even track your size measurements, clock how many times you have worn each item and create inspiration and mood boards. Clever, eh?

3. Kaleidoscope

This is a really great app if you’re looking for inspiration or are just curious about the current trends. Showing pictures from universal street styles and fashion shows, this app allows you to browse and shop clothes. If you see an item you like, when you click on it, suggestions will be shown on where and how to purchase it. You are also able to share your favourite looks on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. A completely free app, so get downloading!

4. InStyle Hairstyle Try On

We all worry about going for the chop. Will we suit a bob? Can I really get away with being a brunette? Now you have a chance to try before you buy, as it were. By uploading a picture of yourself you can effectively try on different shapes and shades. Ranging from celeb styles you’d love to steal, to what would work best for your wedding day. Fun and free for your iPhone or iPad.

5. Pose

A little bit like Instagram, this app is also for snapping and sharing. You can post your own outfits or your wonderful shopping purchases. You can also watch a live shopping experience from some of the world’s most infamous trendsetters. No doubt, it’s a great way to be imaginative and get inspiration from others.
