O-D-D club night launch at Anaya London goes off with a bang!

Wednesday 1st August became host to a brand new night being launched at Anaya nightclub in Piccadilly Circus. Claiming to bring a “much needed edge to the West End”, the night created by the collective of DJ’s and artists from The Bang Bang in East London has managed to touch on a different aspect of party life.

The Bang Bang was established just two years ago and as a celebration of their success, the night at the infamously known Anaya combined together their achievements in a brand new location. At first, it was hard to decide whether the combination of hip-hop and grime was right for the club itself, but as the night got busier, the setting became a lot more interesting. Despite being slightly smaller than expected, white furnishing with drapes and blue lighting set the scene for Yasmin to take to the decks. With the likes of Drake being blasted around the room, you knew that you were there for a party and nothing else.  Cocktails were taken to tables with mini fireworks for more effect and excitement which added to the feel of the evening. Ladies were also treated to Sophy Robson’s Nail Porn, where nails were “pimped” out to any request and gave a unique touch to the launch.

It was clear that the East End definitely brought something different into the West End and with a little bit of work to it, it could turned into something special.
