Jones + Jones showcase their Autumn/Winter 2012 collection in complete style

Last night became host to a stunning display of dresses by Jones + Jones for the up-and-coming Autumn/Winter season. Hosted at the glamorous Jalouse nightclub in Hanover square, the label that is renown for its quirky 40s and 50s style dresses didn’t disappoint.

Guests were greeted with a delight of champagne and strawberries under fabulous lighting, a nail bar and luxurious seating areas. The catwalk was impressively set up surrounding the guests, with models parading the beautiful Jones + Jones pieces above the glamorous booths situated around the club.

The pieces themselves had the classic Jones + Jones feel to them. Black was prominent throughout, giving the pieces a wintery touch and making them ideal as Christmas party frocks. Lace and peplums dominated the collection alongside halter-necks, boob tubes and cut outs for upper-body detailing. Designs featured under-netting for added volume in most of the dresses as well as pleating to give a playful yet sophisticated look.  Models were styled with yellow glitter tights with all outfits as well as streaks of gold eye make-up to add a splash of celebration to the dresses.

Of course an Autumn/Winter collection would not have been complete without a sequin number and the girls at Jones + Jones beautifully showcased a high-necked gold design with true elegance.

So with September approaching us fast, Jones + Jones have managed to get us excited for shorter days and colder weather. There is a perfect balance of sexy and edgy in this collection, something that is so refreshing for the up-and-coming months. All that is left to say is that we cannot wait to get our hands on them.
