Good look for those with bad vision: fashionable frames

With a large number of people who need to wear glasses (as well as some who don’t), the hunt continues to find the perfect pair. Styles and fashions have changed wildly throughout the last century and with that we have seen a huge variety of frames in as many shapes, sizes and colours as you could possibly imagine. On top of finding a pair to suit you, the high price of some frames means you have to be pretty certain they aren’t too trendy or that they are going to be out of style in a few months.

But fear not! Here at The Upcoming we have discovered that the American company BonLook seems to have the answers to most of these dilemmas. Founded by two women who wanted great pairs of glasses without the hefty price tag, they continued to set up their own company where they are able to design a wide range of stylish and quality frames that are affordable enough for customers to have more than one pair – nearly every pair is only $99 (around £65!).

The online shop is divided into sections defined by frame shape, most of which are unisex and also includes the helpful feature of letting the customer virtually try on the pair by either uploading a photo or using the webcam feature.
