Shaun Gordon: Not your average tie maker
Set in the quirky, rustic cellar of a quaint Victorian pub in the heart of Clerkenwell, central London, Shaun Gordon débuted his handmade luxury tie collection. Graduating from The London College of Fashion in 2004, Gordon has gone on to create a stunning selection of wool, cotton and silk blend skinny ties that ooze style and class. Each tie is packaged into a beautiful monochrome gift box, in which the tie is carefully placed in black silk and tied with a delicate bow.
As a young boy Gordon remembers his grandfather, a man who dressed to the nines every day. As he grew older, Gordon began to wear ties to social events, with which he gained the feeling of pride, importance and most importantly happiness each time he did. Gordon’s passion for ties is expressed through his collection, bringing luxury to every day. 
“A man should look as if he has bought his clothes with intelligence, put them on with care and then forgotten all about them” – Hardy Amies, a statement that stays true to Gordon’s heart. 
An exclusive last night reveals that next to come will be a collection of bow ties. We have no doubt that his second collection will be just as beautiful as last night’s, although it will be a tall order!
