Wellies never go out of fashion in the UK. Why? Because it never stops raining, of course.  So here at The Upcoming we have decided to show you our favourite wellie buys and give you tips on how to wear them.

Patterned wellies are huge this year; from flowers to stripes, from dots to butterflies. Having a patterned welllie can really add some fun to your outfit.  You may think it would be hard to incorporate a patterned welllie into your everyday wardrobe, but when paired with a simple coat and jeans they can look stylish. If Kane Moss can do it, why can’t you?

This really gives them a girly feel and an individual edge. Boots such as these go great with a skirt, tights and a fur coat for an adorable spring look.

What’s great about wellies is that even if the sun does decide to make a rare appearance you can still wear them with a summer dress or shorts for a festival look. In fact a good sturdy pair of wellies will last you all the way through festival season, so they really are an investment with endless styling possibilities.

It doesn’t matter what brand your wellies are from, whether it be Hunter, Vivienne Westwood, Evercreatures, Joules, New Look or Next. As long as you wear them with confidence you will look fashionable.
