London’s most popular food trend this year gets a Christmas makeover with limited edition festive takes on the much loved traditional beef burger.

Honest Burgers – Christmas Special

Just ahead of opening their fifth site in Kings Cross (on 14th December) Honest Burgers bring us another early Christmas present. The classic spin on their beef burger wrapped in smoked bacon, deep fried Camembert, with cranberry sauce makes us want to forget the turkey lunch this year altogether.

Available at Brixton, Soho, Camden, Portobello, until 31st January 2014, for further information visit here.

Hawksmoor – Turkey Burger

Stuffed with a range of top quality seasonal ingredients, the meat-giant’s burgers are well worth the hefty £12 price tag; a juicy slab of buttermilk-fried turkey topped with a sausage patty made from Ginger Pig Tamworth pork, streaks of crispy smoked bacon, sprout tops, spiced cranberry ketchup, Ogleshield cheese and even a jug of turkey gravy.

Available at the Hawksmoor Spitalfields Bar, 157a Commercial St, E1 6BJ, until 31st December, for further information visit here.

Tommi’s Burger Joint – Limited Edition Christmas Burger

Tommi’s Burger Joint is bringing the festive cheer with their limited edition venison burger, topped with cheese, rocket, pickled red cabbage and cranberry sauce.  If you want to feel as if you’re doing your bit during the festive season, for every venison burger bought £1.00 will be donated to Scope charity, supporting disabled people and their families – priced at £9.90, this certainly makes it a little more worthwhile!

Available at Tommi’s Burger Joint, 30 Thayer St, W1U 2QP, until the end of December, for further information visit here.

Haché – Christmas Burger

They say the simplest things in life are the best; 100% prime Scotch beef, a smoky saucisse de Morteau, home-made tangy grape chutney and melted Camembert – Christmas simply done in a bun, it doesn’t get better than this.

Available at Camden, Chelsea, Clapham & Shoreditch throughout December, for further information visit here.

Got Beef  – Silent Bite

If you’re still not feeling festive, this Christmas carol inspired burger is bound to get you in the mood. Silent Bite features no less than their award-winning 6oz burger made from grass-fed Welsh Black Beef, parsnip crisps, rocket, cranberry sauce, smoky bacon and a pot of beef gravy.

Available for events and catering, based in Cardiff, for further information visit here.

MeatLiquor – Twurkey Sandwich

If you’re put off by the queues all year-round otherwise, this is one certainly holding out for; roast turkey in a butter-grilled bun with gravy, bacon, pork sage and onion stuffing and cranberry sauce. Christmas in a bun just got serious!
