Victoria Beckham donates clothes to be sold for charity

The mother of four has selected 600 pieces from her wardrobe that will be available for people to bid on, with the profits made going to mothers2mothers charity.

The British fashion designer visited Cape Town earlier this year where she met the charity’s Mentor Mothers, women who are currently living with HIV and educate other mothers who also suffer from the human immunodeficiency virus; they teach them how to cope with any issues they are dealing with, as well as how to prevent transmission of HIV.VB

Beckham stated that it is a matter close to her heart and she was “moved” by the work she saw whilst visiting South Africa.

The world-famous fashion guru and former Spice Girl is known for her fabulous taste in fashion and will be partnering up with The Outnet – an online fashion retailer that stocks hundreds of designer clothes at discounted prices, including Alexander Wang, Balmain and Michael Kors, to name but a few. This once in a lifetime event will see some of Beckham’s most famous outfits up for auction including a bright yellow Roberto Cavalli number she wore back in 2006 to the pre-World Cup party. She stated that she had some serious nostalgia whilst hunting through her closet with many of the clothes bringing back memories for both herself and her footballer husband, David Beckham.

The charity sale will commence on 20th August and will last for five days via The UK Outnet site.
