Fireball Whisky offers free head shaves and chance to win Miami trip near Hyde Park ahead of Pitbull concert

Fireball Cinnamon Whisky will host an event at a barbershop near Hyde Park in central London this Friday, inviting members of the public to shave their heads “Fire-Bald” for the chance to win a trip to Miami – all timed to coincide with Pitbull’s performance at BST Hyde Park on the same day. The event, dubbed Fireball’s Bald Spot, will run from midday to 6pm at 11 Curzon Street, roughly a five-minute walk from the Park Lane entrance of Hyde Park.

The premise honours Cuban-American rapper Pitbull (who performs under the name Mr Worldwide). Attendees over 18 are invited to have their heads shaved at the venue in a nod to the musician’s look. Those who go through with the challenge will then be able to spin what the brand calls the Fireball Winning Wheel, with a stated one-in-six chance of winning the top prize.

That prize consists of an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Miami, including flights, five nights in a hotel, nightlife access and spending money. Participants who do not win big can also claim smaller rewards such as Fireball miniatures or cash. Music will be played at the shop to evoke a Miami atmosphere, and shots will be available for those of legal drinking age.

Though Fireball explains the event is independent and in no way associated or affiliated with Pitbull or the festival, the challenge marks the artist’s appearance at BST Hyde Park. The venue is located just next door to the park or around a six-minute walk from Green Park Underground station, and fans can visit free of charge.
