Kylie Jenner admits to having lip fillers
After almost a year of speculation on how she got those famous lips, reality star Kylie Jenner has finally admitted to having temporary lip fillers.
The 17-year-old’s plump pout has been consistently talked about across tabloids and social media this year. With thousands of teenagers and Kardashian fans, lining their lips and trying to achieve the “clever makeup tricks”, which were the supposed cause of Kylie’s transition to a fuller mouth.
Kylie spoke out about going under the knife on an E! clip during reality show Keeping up with the Kardashians last week. She stated: “I have temporary lip fillers, it’s just an insecurity of mine and it’s what I wanted to do.
“I’m just not ready to talk to reporters about my lips yet. Everyone always picks us apart.” She continued.
Having grown up publicly in front of the nation since the tender age of 10, Kylie has been in the spotlight. It’s no wonder she would have adopted insecurities, with all the opinions and stories, written about her family daily. It’s often we forget that she is just a teenage girl, but we do however, remember how difficult it was for us at that age; let alone the whole world knowing everything about you.
Last Thursday, at the book signing for her new photo collection, titled Selfish, Kim Kardashian said she was unsurprised by her sibling’s surgical procedure and that Kylie had been after her enviable pout for years. “At 10 and 11 years old she’d say ‘Kimmy, how come my lips aren’t as big as yours?’” The star supported her by saying, “If it’s going to make her feel better then I’m all for it. Now people can stop talking about it.”
Mother Kris Jenner has been open about her own surgery on the show, including having plastic surgery done on herself in one of the episodes. Khloe spoke to Cosmopolitan in February 2014 and said that her mother had been encouraging her to get work done since the age of nine!
“She didn’t mean harm, but when I was around nine I overheard my Mom telling her friend I needed a nose job”, Khloe revealed.
Well, we wonder what’s next for Kylie Jenner and her sisters. But one thing is for sure, it will not be boring – there’s just something about that family!
