Laura Mercier introduces Chrome Extravagance collection
Beauty guru and blogger favourite Laura Mercier has introduced her new collection titled Chrome Extravagance, which launched this month. The collection is small and delicate, with a dainty finish and perfect for autumn/winter fashion trends.
The promotional ad campaign is fronted by beautiful French model and actress Roxane Mesquida, who is shot wearing shimmering and sultry eyes; which would be perfect for the cooler season ahead.The collection itself comprises of a handful of products, in daring colours encouraging a dressed-up look. The slogan “boundaries no longer exist. So explore and experiment!” shows an insight into how they wish the products to be used – for us to all have a little fun with them.
Firstly, the limited edition chrome palette holds four shades, all colour co-ordinated and packed in a cute metallic compact: Iced Nickel, Purple Chrome, Blue Steel and Aluminium Grey. The shadows are smudge-proof and leave a velvety finish. The product is also very lightweight and so your eyes will feel nice and bright with these shimmering shadows. The palette retails at £32.
Laura Mercier’s colour balms are also set to be a big hit in the collection. Available in three shades: Bloody Cherry, Crème de Cassis and Amaretto Swirl, these colours are quite dark and vampy, but because of the lip-shine and texture of a balm, the colour intensity is less than a lipstick. Each lip colour is priced at £19.50.
The remaining pieces are a Kajal d’Orient eyeliner and an Extra Lash Sculpting Mascara – both of which are in a jet black shade, making for dramatic eyes to stand out in the autumn days.
