Star Wars premiere: A chat with the cast of The Last Jedi in London

Last night the European premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the highly anticipated next chapter of the Skywalker saga, took place at London’s Royal Albert Hall. In The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of the UK’s biggest film of all time, The Force Awakens, join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past. The Royal Albert Hall was specially transformed into an IMAX theatre for this one-night-only event.

To mark this special occasion, the event benefited the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, and both Prince William and Prince Harry were in attendance.

The foundation invited more than 400 young people, military veterans and volunteers who have taken part its programmes to join the premiere, and some of the families who were affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy, alongside representatives of the local fire services and the charities and organisations who are now helping them recover and try to rebuild their lives.

The cast of the film – including historic actors Mark Hamill and Anthony Daniels – were in attendance, as well as director Rian Johnson, producer Kathleen Kennedy, Disney’s Alan Horn (Chairman) and Bob Iger (CEO). Here’s a chat with them on the red carpet.
