“Elizabeth Hurley is an absolute legend”: Georgia Lock on Strictly Confidential

“Elizabeth Hurley is an absolute legend”: Georgia Lock on Strictly Confidential

If the oh-so-changeable British weather is getting you down, look no further than Strictly Confidential for a bit of sun-drenched escapism. Damian Hurley’s (son of Elizabeth, who also stars) directorial debut takes as its setting a Caribbean island – one that looks idyllic at first, but its picturesque veneer soon slips away to reveal a web of secrets, lies and intrigue.

Hints of erotic thrillers, melodrama and murder mystery all come into play as the story unfolds around three women: Lily (Elizabeth Hurley) is mourning the tragic suicide of her daughter, Rebecca (Lauren McQueen). On the anniversary of Rebecca’s death, Lily gathers her daughter’s college friends, including her best friend Mia (Georgia Lock), to her beach-side home. Unsettled and haunted by suspicions, Mia begins to uncover the sinister truth behind Rebecca’s demise.

The Upcoming had a lovely chat with star Lock who spoke about taking on the role of Mia and the emotional journey of her character. We also discussed her collaboration with screen veteran Elizabeth Hurley and her son, the film’s intense shoot and the stunning Caribbean location. She also hinted at upcoming projects and her desire to explore period dramas.
