Paramount Pictures and Skydance have announced the release of the official trailer and poster for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which is scheduled to hit cinemas on 21st May 2025. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie and starring Tom Cruise, the film marks the latest installment in the iconic Mission: Impossible series.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning continues the high-octane adventures of Ethan Hunt, portrayed by Cruise, who has been a staple of the franchise since its inception. The movie promises to deliver the thrilling action sequences and complex narratives that fans have come to expect from the series.

The feature is a collaborative effort with Cruise not only leading the cast but also serving as a producer alongside McQuarrie. The screenplay is co-written by McQuarrie and Erik Jendresen, based on the television series created by Bruce Geller. The executive production team includes David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger and Chris Brock.

The cast for The Final Reckoning features a blend of familiar faces and new additions. Alongside Cruise, the film stars Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg and Angela Bassett, with Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Henry Czerny, Mariela Garriga, Holt McCallany, Janet McTeer, Nick Offerman, Hannah Waddingham, Tramell Tillman, Shea Whigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, Charles Parnell, Mark Gatiss, Rolf Saxon and Lucy Tulugarjuk rounding out the ensemble.
