Kudu Collective celebrates with Best of Kudu farewell menu ahead of Marylebone move

South African-inspired restaurant group Kudu Collective will be launching a limited edition Best of Kudu menu from 1st July 2025 at their flagship Kudu Restaurant and sister venue Kudu Grill in Peckham. The initiative marks the group’s eighth anniversary in the area and precedes a planned relocation to a new site in Marylebone later this autumn. Kudu opened in Peckham and Nunhead eight years ago, founded by husband and wife team Amy Corbin and Patrick Williams. It has become a fixture in the South London dining scene, establishing a reputation for contemporary cuisine rooted in South African flavours. The special set menu will offer diners the chance to revisit some of Kudu’s most popular dishes before its departure from South East London.

The Best of Kudu menu will be available at both the original Kudu Restaurant and its sister venue, Kudu Grill. At the restaurant, the five-course menu (priced at £60 per person) includes a selection of signature dishes such as house-made Kudu Bread with a choice of melted cultured butter with house-cured bacon or seafood butter and almonds, Parmesan Churros with Miso Mayonnaise and Burrata with Pineapple, Tomato, Sesame, Chilli Crisp and Ginger. The main course features a sharing dish of Onglet Steak with Hispi Cabbage, Enoki Mushrooms and Truffled Potato Mousse, followed by a dessert of Salted Chocolate Ganache with Sesame Ice Cream and Chocolate Crumble. Meanwhile, the grill will offer a four-course menu (£50 per person) inspired by South African braai traditions. It begins with Grilled Potato Flatbread with Coppa and Wild Garlic and Smoky Padron Peppers with Labneh, followed by Grilled Prawns with Peri Peri Sauce. For the main course, guests can choose between Pork Chop with Monkey Gland Sauce (a traditional South African condiment) or Whole Black Bream with Cultured Butter Rotis, served with the option of beef fat crispy fingerling potatoes or a baby spinach salad with yuzu, truffle and parmesan dressing. Dessert is a reimagined Melktert made with choux pastry, jasmine ice cream and kumquat. Both menus will include a Saffa Rita, described as Kudu’s take on a spicy margarita.

Reservations are now open for both locations. According to the restaurant group, the farewell menu aims to give regulars “the opportunity to enjoy their Kudu favourites… for one last time”. Kudu Marylebone will open in autumn 2025, marking a new chapter for the group after its eight-year tenure in South East London.
